Great restaurant with amazing service. Perfect location across the street from a parking garage. Big windows with city views. One side looking out at the castle in the theater district. Food was very good and pushes for some adventurous eating. Had one of everything on the tasting menu with my wife, with the wine paring. Worth every penny. The sausage dish while good seemed a little out of place on the menu but everything else was delicious especially the scallops, and the civiche. Don't skip on moonbar downstairs either great drinks.
Appetizers are great. The mains are OKish. I don’t like the idea that the customers can only choose from two alternatives in each course, and at the same time, one of them is spicy…
Best tasting menu in Boston. We went there for my birthday, we couldn’t have been more satisfied with the delicious food and beverages. Highly recommend! Staff was professional and friendly.
This is hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in Boston, if not THE best. The food was incredible and the wine pairing was perfection. The dining room is beautiful and the service superb! Elaine was amazing!!
Great place for a date night
I would go as far as to say this is the most disappointing meal I’ve had in my 25+ years in Boston. The fish dishes tasted overly fishy. The subsequent courses were under-seasoned. The best course was dessert which was a simple scoop of vanilla ice cream and apples that tasted like they were from a can. I am more than happy to pay $200+ for a meal that is worth it but this was far from it.
Finally went to Mooncusser. I am a vegan-leaning vegatarian, but have started to add in a little fish, so Mooncusser has been on my list for re-introducing fish into my meals. I am so very glad we went: party of four (2 industry and 2 foodies). We ofc had every dish on the menu. Not one person was disappointed with one dish. We each had a favorite but then when someone else said theirs, we said, "Oh yeah, that one too." The dishes were both creative and well executed. Drinks and wine list were great. I will be back, and am definitely trying the bar downstairs too.
