moonbowls (Healthy Korean Bowls- Alton Rd)

This is my new go to spot for lunch during the week. Great service and the food is beyond delicious. Alot of variety to choose from. They are super fast as well which is great when you only have a 30min lunch break. Vegetarian options: Great variety of veg options. I also love that they have chicken options so ordering as a group is easy

I really love the avocado bulgogi bowl! i've had it like 5+ times and it's super dependably delicious! i like it with brown rice or with the marinated kale as the base. super delicious and flavorful and healthy with so much plant-powered nutrition! thanks moonbowls!

Ordered through Uber Eats. Food arrived on time. But one item was missing. Called number on receipt and entered order number correctly twice. Message said not recognized- goodbye. Called main number. Found a human who identified order and said g e would refund. I politely said we would like the item. Apparently correcting their mistake was not an option! So the bowls were good but if correcting mistakes other than by refund is too much to offer then don't make mistakes!! Wasted 25 minutes with this nuisance. Reluctantly despite good bowls overall experience only 2 stars

I love that I can make my own bowl, everything was fresh and cooked to perfection and also reasonable prices.

Terrible experience. Ordered a meal for delivery. The time kept getting delayed until it was beyond an hour late. Then suddenly the door dash app showed the meal was delivered. Nothing ever arrived. Driver didn't answer when called. We arrived exhausted and hungry from an international flight, and this is one of the only gluten free food places where I could find a meal. Very disappointing experience and now will not have dinner tonight. A simple refund was offered by the company, despite the inconvenience of not having anything to eat two hours after ordering from them and it now being too late to order anything else. Terrible customer service all around, both on the delivery side and the customer support side.

This review is for their takeout. I ordered the Korean Hot Chicken bowl. Chicken was hard and was not fresh at all. The flavors didn’t blend well together. Rice was not cooked properly. Read other reviews of the same issue but thought it might be a one-off situation. They also missed the extra broccoli that I was charged for. Portion size is moderate.

I’ve order food from here a few times and each time it’s been good. Everything is flavorful and filling. I recommend trying them out.

Delicious and healthy food, bold flavors. Terrific service, super warm staff. Located in the new Alton Food Hall.
