We had the chicken pad Thai which was pretty dry and hardly had any chicken, was pretty disappointing. The shrimp curry was seasoned alright but only had 5 pieces of shrimp in total, which I feel like is also a small amount. Hardly any meat in their dishes, skimping on it. The best part, and the reason for the 3 stars instead of lower, was because of the appetizers. Those were fairly good.
first time ordering here, ordered the spicy drunken noodles and they were brilliant.
Found this in the Thai dumplings. Noodles on my Pad See-Ew were also cold and lacking much flavor. Disappointing to say the least.
This is a fake Thai restaurant, anyone who is used to authentic Thai cuisine would certainly agree. The Thai Ice tea is completely garbage, it tasted like it was made with Lipton tea. Again anyone who authentic Ice Tea would know their version of Thai Ice Tea is garbage. I had chicken pad Thai, chicken was not well cooked. the noodles were not well cooked. Barely any real seasoning, a couple slices of scallion, I had to REQUEST for the peanut butter, when it is NORMALLY part of this dish. I question anyone who is giving this restaurant high ratings. Either the high ratings are from their family and/or friends. Or from people who have no clue on authentic Thai cuisine. The ambience of the restaurants is gloomy, no music no television playing. Everyone who is working their are dress like they are ready to collect cans to redeem. Please do not waste your time or your money.
I ordered lunch special and mango stick rice. Food was really good and fair price. What I liked most is the nice behavior of the lady at the counter. I think NYC is going down with good customer service. Gladly this restaurant is doing good job.
Good, rapid food and service.
Delivery took in excess of two hours. The delivery driver had to wait for an extended period of time at the restaurant to pick up the order. Had to call the restaurant to resolve the delay. The food was average at best; particularly bland for Thai food. This will not be our go to for Thai delivery.
Order from here often. Our favorites are the Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, Drunken Noodles, Crispy Basil Chicken Rolls, spring rolls, Param crispy chicken and the chicken satay. The Thai iced tea is amazing, too. 5 stars all around.
EDIT: I'd eaten here before, and it was always my favorite food in the neighborhood, which is why I traveled so far. I just spoke with the restaurant and they explained about the leak that lead to the unexpected closure, apologized, and made everything right. Thank you! I appreciate that, and I really appreciate the good customer service. Yesterday I called the restaurant to confirm their hours today, Wednesday, October 4th. And the lady I spoke with directly said they were open for lunch from 11:45 a.m. till 3 p.m. I just traveled forty minutes to get here and the gates down and they are closed.Absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous.
