Monty's Sunset - South Beach

Amazing location right in the crystal clear water! Andy was my server and he was awesome, quick to answer any questions we had, speaks multiple languages which was very helpful too a lot of guests. Food was really good as well. I will be returning and hope to get Andy again as my server!!

The service was absolutely horrible and they do not split checks. I ordered the muscles and roughly a quarter of my dish did not have muscles in the shell. Environment was OK but the lack of service did not make up for it.

Heard incredible things about this place and was extremely disappointed. Oysters tasted like nothing, no flavor at all. Went on a Monday and service was very slow. Didn’t get checked on once. Worst part of it all is they add on an 18% tip automatically. I have been a server for years and I tip well, but don’t force me to when you don’t deserve it. On the other hand, a beautiful location.

Food is mediocre and over priced. Oysters weren't shucked properly and raw seafood was basic at best. Calamari was chewy and not it. Place is great for location of sunset marina views and good vibes with live band. Good for merely fried food and drinks. Kid-friendliness: Family oriented

We came to eat here with the family after the beach. There was such a nice live band playing, the music, the ambiance and the food! Great place to go with the family! Wheelchair accessibility: yes

Food was terrible. The women's bathroom was both flooded and had no water?!? How was this allowed to operate. Crab claws were outrageously expensive and bland. Sushi was small and uninteresting. Dropped $150+ and had to go find someplace else to eat.
