Honestly, it's an expensive spot in the middle of the ghetto which is slowly getting gentrified anyway, but not worth the money for the portions they give smh
Food was good, i got the Coconut Curry Pho, portions were very small, they also put the sprouts, parsley in the dish when it arrives, most Vietnamese restaurants put them on the side. The price did fit portions.
Came here with friends and enjoyed our time. It was decently empty because it was a Monday night and the service wad relagively fast. Lighting is nice, but at one point our eyes started burning, probably from something that was being cooked? It didn't take away from the meal though, which I throroughly enjoyed. I had the Money pho and we also ordered the thai basil popcorn chicken and popcorn shrimp. The drink options were quite limited, the drinks we ordered were full of ice.
The pho has gotten a bit better since we first tried it soon after it opened, but it’s still inexplicably bad. The broth is flat and thinly flavored. What was shocking was how terrible the rice was. It might be the worst rice I’ve ever been served…dry, crusty and so densely packed it was hard to get a spoonful of.
My server was kind and patient with my questions. The beef brisket had a nice Smokey flavor, but the surprise chili peppers were not appreciated by my wife. The broth felt quite bland and didn’t truly taste like pho. The seaweed salad had too much filler (carrot & lettuce). Their pork spring rolls were probably the best item we ordered.
Great place and the waiter was super nice. I ended up getting coconut curry chicken pho. Tasted so good!! I recommend you try it.
i love going here and eating, service is always nice! i always get the money pho and pork spring rolls and the chia lime drink. i highly recommend! i think money cat is so fire.
Most if not all of the appetizers are gluten free!! I love this place <3
Ate here during the summer and loved it. Would I go back? YES! Go enjoy some food at the Money Cat! You'll be glad you did.
