Fried chicken is POGGED out.
Can't say about the food because I haven't tried it. I tried ordering food for a friend with terminal cancer. This will be her last Christmas with her family and this is her favorite restaurant. I couldn't find any apps that would deliver to my friend's house. I'm outside the US so I cannot deliver the food myself. I called the restaurant asking if they knew any apps that would deliver to my friend's house, or whether they would make an exception and deliver the order considering the special circumstance. They said no, which is absolutely fine, after all they are under absolutely no obligation to do it. However, what really bothered me was how they said it. The lady on the phone sounded annoyed that I was even asking, and told me to put in an order for pickup, basically ignoring what I had just told her. She then hung up on me. There was absolutely no empathy or sympathy with my friend's situation. Again, I haven't tried the food, and based on this experience, never will. I hope this person was just having a bad day and she's not really like this.
Not that great. I ordered the popcorn chicken box and it was worse than a frozen tv dinner. I traveled from Arlington, VA to try this place and I wished I went somewhere else.
I'm visiting DC for my first time and decided to try Momo's as my first restaurant in the area. It set a great tone for my trip. The braised pork, which is flavorful and soft, and hakkaido milk tea are outstanding and true to Taiwanese cuisine. I didn't like the Taiwanese sausage quite as much, but the popcorn chicken left a better impression. All this considered along with the prices being around par for what you get makes this an easily recommendable restaurant for those looking for authentic Taiwanese food.
