It's kinda a tragedy that this place doesn't get more traffic. The food is scarcely more expensive than Shake Shack and a sight better. We had two apps, the dumplings and the hocakes. The hocakes have a lovely flavor and texture, deliciously crispy and a touch of spice. I'm not very experienced with dumplings, but to me they had a great mix of crispy on the bottom and chewy on top with good fillings and kimchi dipping sauce. For main, I had the crabby shrimp bowl. I thought this was a pretty good rendition of the idea, although I think maybe I wish I had done the bibimbap or bulgogi instead. Not that the shrimp was bad I just realized I wanted something warmer. My wife did get the bulgogi bowl and she loved it. Service was good. Ambiance was okay, but we had to sit at the bar when we'd have preferred a table. There were plenty of empty tables but they were "out of order" or not in service or something. They seem to be getting ready for a renovation. Presentation was inadequate -- appetizers were served in to-go containers. But, to me ambiance is secondary to food, and I'm perfectly happy with the food. Price is okay. We got three people worth of dinner for $80 before tip.

Literally one of the worst food you can get in the area. Obviously overpriced cause the chef was in a tv show, but the food is worst than any Korean restaurants I went in NY. Secondly, the food quality is terrible! Whatever they used in the food is not good. Gave me and my partner the worst bloating and belly aches. Also don’t be fool by their pictures. The takeout food is so small. Curry chicken had six small cutlets. I think their pictures shows at least 8 or 9 generously cut chicken. It will leave you hungry. The bibimbap ramen is a joke.. the ramen is the $2.99 package ramen from any Asian store. It has no flavor or whatsoever. What a shame

The curry, tteokbokki, ho cake, and bibimbap are quite good. Soups are pretty good as well, but there's better in the neighborhood. I gave them 4 stars because it's inconsistent and they still for some reason have not opened indoor dining fully, and the pricing doesn't reflect takeout only service. On the inconsistency I've experienced, one time the curry was watery and tasted burnt, another time the chicken ramen wasn't as fatty and full of flavor. Unfortunately in every instance it really ruined the food overall. I hope they can improve and reopen as a full restaurant, there's obviously a lot of potential here, just lack of attention to detail and care.
