Great pie and mgr April can fix you a mean cocktail if required. Join the chess club.
I'm used to upcharges for vegan options, even when they don't seem "fair," but an $8.50 upcharge for swapping the cheese seems absolutely ludicrous. The entire pizza only costs $19, and you're telling me swapping (not adding) vegan cheese increases the cost by 50%? Entire bags of vegan shreds at Kroger cost $3.99! Come on...
Love this place!!! Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday, they have a chess club.
My mom and have been trying to come for a while. Stacey and Marcus were rockstars, they made us feel right at home and were so sweet. We had so much fun and will definitely be back!
We had a really great time having lunch today. The gentleman who welcomed my family with three small kiddos was super kind, friendly, and efficient. We got the garlic knots, a large pie, and two different flavors of wings. The marinara sauce is delicious!! We were very pleasantly surprised by the size and taste of the wings (goat sauce was really good) and the overall quality of the food for the price point. I would absolutely recommend this place to other families and folks who want a no-fuss casual lunch. Parking: Plenty of parking behind the restaurant and on the street! Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with boosters/high chairs, games and coloring books.
Great food and pizza as it was the first stop on our pub crawl. They were able to serve our whole group in a timely manner. The food was savory and fresh. I had a gluten-free pizza. It was crispy and satisfying. We got our food quick. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free dough, which was not a cauliflower dough. This was a great base for a pizza. We were on a pub crawl, and I needed food to help keep my stamina through the crawl. Having gluten-free pizza was a bonus to jump start this yearly tradition.
This is my old stompin' ground so I would come visit the neighborhood anyways but one day I stopped for a slice of pizza & have been coming back ever since. Mind you I now live on the south side but the pizza is so worth the trip!
Ordered 2 pizzas for pickup. One large 1 topping, one medium cheese. It was ready in time however entering the restaurant it seems kinda beat up. The pizzas were "meh" in taste and quality, considering the $ price. Probably won't go back.
The bartender is very personal. The waiter (Guy who teaches Chess!) was very delightful to meet! He made us feel welcomed even though we had no idea how to play chess! Pizza fantastic!
