Mojave Restaurant

Overall rating: 4.7 I visited here as a tourist 2x and while the quality has changed a tad, the drinks do not disappoint. Must order the margaritas. The first time I went the blue corn bread, was really good. But the second time, not sure. Something was missing. Guacamole was good, very fresh. The Mojave Benedict was soo good. I’m always concerned with Benedicts that I’ll get too full too fast after one bc if the bread, ham, etc. but this one is made on a corn pancake and Serrano ham which is very thin, almost like prociutto. So it was very easy to eat & sit very well in my stomach. Highly recommend!

We had Easter brunch at Mojave, and the food was excellent! Our server was friendly, and she did the best she could while being very busy. We had a reservation but still had to wait to be seated. Then when we were seated, we only got 3 brunch menus and 2 regular menus between the five of us, which was a little strange since we had to share them. We also had no napkins or silverware and had to ask our server for them after we got our apps. The green salsa was good but could have had more spice (supposed to be hotter than the red per the server). The guacamole was a good chunky consistency but didn’t have much interesting flavor. The entrees, however, were great! We had the Cuban sandwich, breakfast burrito, huevos Benedict, and the Mojave frittata with chorizo. Everyone thought the flavors were rich and interesting. Even the fries had a chipotle seasoning on them. The huevos Benedict were on corn pancakes with Serrano ham and were a great twist on a classic dish. Service was a little slow, but the restaurant was very busy, and we were happy to have a nice long brunch. Overall a good experience, and I would come back again - hopefully to sit outside next time (outside was full when we arrived). Oh,and the valets were super nice!!

Calamari was tough and chewy rest of food was good.

A special place to celebrate a birthday! The freshest ingredients and delightful flavors. New menu choices! Give it a try and add a cup of coffee or espresso or mimosas.

Great atmosphere, amazing food, and amazing service! I had the shrimp and grits- they were so creamy and tasty. Our server Francisco was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.

Decided to make a reservation for 15 people on the patio as I have been to Mojave before with friends. I met with Cindy to put us down. I had a few questions to which she answered with two words and had an overall “whatever”attitude. She said that she couldn't guarantee a table for us but would do her best to sit us outside. I told her that we chose Mojave because we wanted the patio if we didn't get it we would go somewhere else. Cindy could care less about our hundreds of dollars we would spend there. She said sorry a lot of people would probably call last minute to want to sit outside and its first come first serve. To which I answered that is why I am making it ahead of time. We went back and fourth for awhile. Clearly I cancelled the reservation as I decided to spend my money in another restaurant where I feel welcome and in good hands. Will definitely not be going back to Mojave!
