Best Mochi Donuts in the Bay Area. Made to order fresh and hot. Most mochi donuts places, the donuts are already made and who knows how long they have been sitting out for. I've had my share of hard, day or two old donuts and this is not that place. They make them to order. I was in heaven getting these fresh, hot, chewy mochi donuts right out of the oil. Can't beat it. Loved them and will be back over and over again.

I brought back 1 Dozen of these treats and everyone who took a bite agreed these are some of the best donuts ever. My friend was so sad when the Irvine location closed. Luckily there's one in Santa Clara for all you Socal people coming up to visit!

その場で揚げてくれる、出来立てドーナッツ屋さん ポンデリング形状のドーナッツに、ぽちょんとディップして味付けしたものをすぐに出してくれる もちもちしていて、とても美味しい！ 黒ゴマと、ミリカイ（柑橘系の味）を頼みましたが、どちらも美味で良い 店内に席はないので、外のテラス席でたれることになります。

I love their donuts! They make them only when you order. Really fresh with crispy outside and nice chewy inside.

The only place I will go to for mochi donuts. Donuts were made fresh every time, literally after I placed an order they go straight to the fryer and make your order. Flavors are so good, lilikoi and pandan are personal favorites. And the ube latte is the best in the area!! The people working there are also so incredibly nice and charismatic, it's just a fantastic experience every time. Modo has a forever fan!

Melt in your mouth best mochi donuts I’ve had! I’ve never had ones that were straight out of the fryer but that’s how I got them here and they were so freaking good!! When warm the sauce melts a bit over them compared to when it settles and has cooled down. I don’t know if I can eat them another way anymore. Even after a couple hours they were still a really good mochi donut. I got the lilikoi (passion fruit) and pandan flavors. Both super good!! Not too sweet and I really like the fruity tang of the lilikoi. The staff were very helpful. I almost ordered an ice cream thinking it was a flavor for the donut but they caught on that maybe I didn’t realize and helped me out. Will have to come back another time for the ice cream!
