When I think about Modern Times, I think, "Hell Yeah!" I can't even explain how good the food is here - you just have to try it. Even if you're not vegetarian, you HAVE to try a dish containing Tempeh. Also, the best carnitas I've had in my life came from right here! It was unexpected, to say the least, to have pork that perfect in a restaurant where vegan/vegetarian is the norm. We absolutely love Misfit coffee and buy bags of that here, too. The place is a little run down, but maybe in a charming way? Modern Times is also staffed by the best of the best. Vegetarian options: Most everything is vegan/vegetarian, and if it's not, it can be ordered vegan or veg.

Excellent breakfast spot for everyone! You can make your dish vegetarian, vegan or carnivorous. There are a wide variety of savory options and some sweet options for breakfast as well. They also serve an excellent latte with latte art. They also make there own hot sauces as well and have a huge selection. Vegetarian options: You can make every dish vegetarian on their menu. Dietary restrictions: They clearly label each item and you can make items vegan.

We visited here on a Sunday about 1230 pm for brunch. There was only about a 15 minute wait and the service was impeccable. The local fresh organic cuisine was amazing! We enjoyed their special and also a Platinum Coffee which was a white chocolate oat milk mocha. So yummy! Highly recommend!

Food is good, punk rock Queercore vegan vibes. Perfect for breakfast and brunch. They do have omnivore options, but a great place to take veg friends. However, if you are looking for a sleek, thirdwave cafe, this is far from it. It’s rough, but in a way that makes sense. They also have a lot of cool art and merch.

I’ve only had takeout, but it’s always crowded and the food is absolutely delicious. Really love the southside hash! It’s also awesome to see a menu where most (if not all) items can be made vegetarian or vegan.

One of my favorite breakfast spots in Minneapolis. Quality ingredients and genuinely good service served up in a unique and uplifting atmosphere. The espresso drinks are always on point.
