Modern Oyster Bar Chophouse

We started with crab cakes, then shrimp pasta. Both were great. Couple of the strawberry Bailey's martinis. Everything tasted great.

Wow, this place is awesome. Had a very nice anniversary dinner. Everything was perfect. Oysters, Filet, Scallops, sides and dessert. Definitely recommend! Service was spot on all night too, well done!!

Great customer service, food came out with an issue and timing was slightly off but waiter and owner came to the table and took care of all the issues to the max. Proud and grateful places like this are still around. Food was great and will be back and recommend to anyone. Experience was 10/10 overall

MODERN Oyster Bar Chophouse is a gem hidden away in Old Town Scottsdale. I recently had the pleasure of dining here for a special occasion dinner and was thrilled with the exceptional food and top-notch service in a beautiful, romantic atmosphere. The steak filet with Oscar Style topping of lump crab meat, grilled asparagus, and béarnaise sauce was cooked to a perfect medium rare at my request. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and provided spot-on recommendations. He (CE) walked us through the preparation and details of several dishes and made suggestions based on our preferences. The service was very attentive without being overbearing. In addition to the wonderful cuisine and service, the ambience is truly spectacular, especially for a romantic evening out. MODERN has a gorgeous dining room filled with plush leather banquettes, marble tabletops, and intimate lighting. There is also a bustling oyster bar that lends a lively yet sophisticated energy. The décor and environment combined to make dining at MODERN an absolute pleasure. The excellent food, top-notch service, romantic ambience, and overall special feeling of dining here has absolutely earned my repeat business for date nights and special celebrations. I highly recommend giving MODERN a try for your next special evening out.
