Mmm...Cakes

I had the key lime mango mousse cake. Would have it again. I also had the Mexican mocha smoothie, it was okay. Not bad, but nothing special. However the cake was delicious!!

Mmm...Cakes is amazing the cakes are to die for!!! A hidden gem in downtown Chula Vista. Luckily my real estate office is next door so I enjoy walking over and getting a delicious smoothie, pastry, and when I really want to indulge I get the delicious Bacon Danish YUM...The staff is extremely friendly as well and the decor is super cute! Much more than cakes. You'll love it.

More than a bakery - an affordable but high-quality restaurant with chill vibes & freshly prepared meals for all times of the day - from mole chilaquiles for breakfast to lemon chicken danishes for dinner. Incredible service & quality from a family-owned local business. Hands-down the best cafe de olla in town, and a good variety of baked snacks if you’re not ready to commit to a full meal. Mmm Cakes is the first place we take anyone coming around to visit, our first choice for Sunday brunch, and the first choice if I want yo get the kids a surprise during the week. Kid-friendliness: Great environment for kids.

Along with all the great things about this place, the chicken molé here stands above it all! Authentic molé from Puebla, MX. From the chicken molé danish to the chicken molé chilaquiles, it is the best molé you will have in Chula Vista, it’s the main reason we keep coming back.
