My sister and I hadn't been here in over 6 years and were so looking forward to making new memories with our kids to enjoy the sweet tea, cornbread and bbq goodness we remembered. The food took quite long to get to our table so I thought well, this is going to be so good as it must be so fresh. I was sadly mistaken. The sweet tea wasn't sweet, the corn bread wasn't good (my boxed one tastes better) and barely any meat on the ribs. Oh yeah, my niece ordered a burger well done. I've had well done meat and not a fan but this was burnt and all you could taste was the char from the grill. I didn't complain while there. Not sure if I should have but we will not be going back :(
This is a great little place tucked into a shopping plaza with both indoor and outdoor tables. The location is nothing special, but the food is truly great! The staff is very friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed the Mississippi Sweets namesake dish, which is thinly sliced set potato round fries. Get that for an appetizer or side, it's awesome. The chicken and ribs were delicious. If you're in the mood for casual dining and great BBQ, this is a very good choice.
KC is the best waitress ever!! The cornbread is awesome
It's okay, I guess. Nothing to go out of your way for.
First time visit. Rustic down home atmosphere with great catfish & green beans. Service was very patient for my order.
Great place! Delicious food and good service. Make sure you try the choclolate cake for dessert!
