Mission Inn Restaurant

This was my wife and I 1st time. We were not very pleased. The issues we had were not necessarily the waiters fault as he said there were 3 call offs. Reservation was for 7pm, we were seated but not seen til 7:28pm. Soda was flat, complimentary bread was very good and hot, waiter did not come for refills, took a long time for food to come out, a long time to get the check, the food is way over priced for what you get flavor wise and portion size. We won't be going back. Outdoor seating was nicely decorated, well lit, and had heaters. Other tables were complaining about service and the food as well

This was my first time dining at The Mission Inn Restaurant. I have eaten at other restaurants on the property; Bella Trattoria and Las Campanas. Both are excellent. However, I was very disappointed at the Hotel's main restaurant. Since it was raining, we were unable to eat in the beautiful patio. That was understandable, and is not a reason for my low rating.. Also, the servers were excellent, very attentive. What bothered me was that we were seated next a red sani-pail bucket on the ground that was collecting water from a leaking roof. Other issues was that the bread served was overcooked and very tough to chew. Lastly, the main dish served was very expensive, and of an extremely small portion. It basically looked like a small bowl of soup with a few medium sized shrimp, small mussels and a few pieces of shrimp. So much for the fancy Valentine's dinner for my spouse. Next time we stay at Mission Inn, we will venture outside of the property.

We came to celebrate our anniversary last night, and was very disappointed. The service was mediocre, with the bread and water server being the most polite and helpful. Our food was not worth what we paid. I got the salmon, which was overcooked and my rice was crunchy. The shrimp linguine was also ordered, and it was bland and tasted like just butter and noodles. Overall, we had a bad experience and would not recommend.

This review is for the Sunday brunch, the breakfast side was OK the best part is getting the freshly made omelets OJ and coffee was really good as well, on the lunch side the prime rib was small but good, however for $80 a person they should have Dungeness crab legs and not snow crab like cheap Chinese buffets and it was cold and so were the muscles. So that's why I have the 2 star rating for an establishment that considers itself in a higher class than the rest of the surrounding areas but yet still cuts corners on a high price tag. Their dinner menu is way more satisfying at a lower price

Prior to this visit, last time was pre-Covid. I wasn’t overall impressed with the food except for the bread, butter and salmon. Outside seating is lovely but had to ask 3 times for heater to be turned on. One of our hot plates was served cold. It just seems like the restaurant needs renewed focus on higher level service training that this place deserves. However, our server was experienced and attentive to take care of the issues.

Dinner was the most disappointing food I've ever had in a long time. There was food on the menu that was told to us by the waiters they haven't served for months and could not serve at the time because they never had the supplies for it. Please update your menus. I had to end up with the Ribeye steak which had no flavor, was tough and non-juicy despite it being medium rare. The bread is the hardest I've ever had, and I thought it was left over in the warmer for a long time but the surprise I had when the waiter said it was freshly baked! Last time they said they're unable to seat a party of 10 even though we offered to split the tables, didn't bother to consider other alternatives such as switching days.. glad I didn't spend my graduation dinner here last time..
