My partner and I have eaten here twice now and the food was delicious each time. I had the spaghetti ala puttanesca which sounds like a slur but is actually the name of an achovy pasta dish which is incredible if you love assertive flavors. My partner had a tortellini ala carbonara which was insanely creamy and rich for a relatively simple dish. We also really enjoyed the rice ball, both the Roman and Italian style. It's awesome they they make their own fresh pasta and season everything well. For the most part. My only negative is that the gnocchi dishes we had during our 2nd visit were desperately missing salt, but that's okay because everything else was very yummy and I wish I could eat here every day. P.S. Forgot to say that the service is excellent and the dining room has a cozy vibe

Miss Pasta was on my list for a while and I finally got a chance to try it today….and it totally delivered! We had the Cacio e Pepe and Fettuccine alla Bolognese and both were so delicious! Best real Italian I’ve had in a long time. Can’t wait to go back. I ordered for takeout and it was ready quickly and the owners were so friendly. All the Parking: Easy, free parking lots in front and back

We ordered Miss Pasta for the first time and have been talking about it since. The portions were large and we made multiple meals out of them. The quality and freshness of ingredients was better than some “high end” Italian spots in the metroplex. We will definitely be returning!

Update 4/23/24 - Upping from 4 to 5 stars. I've been back a few times, and if you like pasta, you should really check this place out. The first time I visited, right after opening, I was not impressed with the portions. But the portions are good now. I actually find it a challenge to finish my entire meal. And the atmosphere is mellow and nice. I really hope they succeed. The location is not the best, as they are a bit hidden away. Maybe they could put up some more lights or something. But they seem to be doing OK. If you don't mind a little spice, not very hot but a little bit, then I recommend the Miss Pasta dish. I've tried others, and they are good, but that is my favorite so far. I will give this place 4 stars based on the quality of the food, which is 5 stars, but I doubt this restaurant will be open for long if they don't change some things. The location is bad, hidden away as it is, and they can't change that. So the only way to be successful is to do enough marketing to bring traffic in, and then provide a product and an experience that will bring people back. For what they are worth, here are my suggestions. The music was loud when I went in, which makes no sense. The prices should be reduced by 2-3 dollars per entree. The portions sizes (at least for the torteli I had) should be increased 30 to 50%. I had to have a snack after my meal. The staff should be kept to a minimum for the traffic expected. The checkout should be friendly and not feel like you are forced to tip. If the tip process is kept the same, make the first option 10%. This is fast casual, not a sit down restaurant. Go into a nearby restaurant, say Piada. A similar service experience but without feeling forced to tip. The place looks a little dark from outside during the day, maybe put some lights in the windows so that people driving thru the parking lot can see that there is something open there. And then, once you have the details ironed out, advertise like crazy. The nearby apartments and City Line should be the first targets. Something like a 50% off your first meal to drive traffic, and if the experience is good enough, and the price and portions right, they will come back. Any restaurant in that location is going to have a tough time getting going. The product itself is high-quality, so if people see the value and desire it, they will remember the location and come back. Personally, I would think a wood fired stove pizza restaurant would do better. Maybe that served beer and had a lot of business from Uber eats and such. But perhaps the pasta concept will work. The food quality is good at least.

The moment I walked in, I was greeted by very friendly staff. I mentioned I had never been before and they were very helpful. I got my food to go. The fried appetizer was still nice and crispy by the time I got home. The food was delicious! Portions were larger than I expected as well. I shared some of the gnocchi with my dad and still have enough left over for lunch tomorrow. I am definitely making this a new spot for when I want to treat myself a bit!

I cried. I wept eating this pasta the fist time. This is truly a special restaurant. The chef is wildly experienced with high level cuisine a the brings that to Richardson for less than $20 a plate! Everything is fresh and the recipes come straight from the chef's home, Tuscany. This is the closest you will get to eating dinner in Italy this side of the Atlantic. The inside is just adorable and warm and welcoming. One of the highlights is seeing the head chef, right there, on the cook line making my dinner. It's so reassuring. And his lovely wife Titsiana is truly a national Treasure! She works the register and delivers most of my meals and she is just warm and kind and always joyous to see me. I love coming here. Talk about "when you're here your family." I try a different dish most visits and each one is. better than the last. I love the monthly special he provides here because the menu never gets dull. They offer a small selection of wine, straight from Tuscany and only one dessert. Want to know why? Because it is the absolute best dessert you'll ever have. It's soft and buttery and not too sweet and light and airy. I'm telling you, this food is like your great grandma is making your dinner. You can taste the love in every bite. I recommend friends family and even strangers to try this place and I suggest you do the same, thank me later!
