I ordered both the white sauce ramen and spicy miso and both were very tasty. The amount of toppings they put on their ramen is insane. Restaurant is very elegant and great atmosphere for a date night, definitely coming back
Updated review... Found out that Misaki moved locations and was terribly disappointed after our visit today. Went with another couple and our kiddo. The service has declined badly. We ordered, got our food, and basically got no other service otherwise. Food was coming out before the entire table even finished ordering. Chashu bowl was terrible... Only tasted of black pepper and nothing else. Tried to switch dishes to the beef bulgogi bowl, which was fine. Still got charged for the dish we didn't like. Basic tonkotsu ramen lost its richness and depth of flavor since the old location. Super bland. Added some corn and the corn ended up overpowering the flavor of the broth. Why? Cuz the broth basically had no flavor. Old review: Stand aside, Tatsuya... there's a new ramen place in town! That can *actually* compete with the ones we know and love. First bonus, no line. It seems like this place is still a secret gem in Round Rock that no one has discovered. Place seems empty, but teeming with take out orders... they must have a pretty good stream of business to keep the food this fresh and clean. Tempura was excellent... oil tasted clean and veggies still had a crunch to them. Ramen broth was spot on... excellent fat droplets, salt level, and developed pork flavor. The chashu needs a little more rendering but the grilled flavor really adds depth to the flavor. They have the usual suspects in terms of toppings and a diverse offering of Japanese and Korean plates. Second time here and it's been very consistent. Looking forward to this being our go-to spot for Japanese fare.
