Mini Pita Mediterranean Cafe

Just ordered at Mini Pita in Fort Lauderale. Omg what wonderful meals we got. To start, i got grilled lamb chops (4) that were wonderfully seasoned with great flavor. So tender! It included rice pilaf that was the best i’ve had besides what my Armenian grandmother would make. It included a Mediterranean salad with cucumbers and tomatoes with spices. Next was an order of their fresh made hummus with olive oil and paprika, and freshly baked pita. Finally had the large gyro in a pita bread that was stuffed with meat,lettuce, tomatoes and tzatziki sauce. Edit 11/13: third time getting the lamb here. The best! I have to drive down and get the rub secret. This is the second time ive ordered and both times the food was freshly made and hot. Last time it was some grilled lamb skewers that were cooked perfectly. Best deal iwhen you order delivery is to go to their website unless Uber has a coupon. My definite go to now!! Edit 4/2024- tried their other location in pompano and it wasn’t as good. Marinade is different and bland. Rice pilaf wasn’t as good as this place either. Their pita tasted funny.

Food & service both surpassed our expectations!

Mini Pita was a spontaneous 1am dining decision while on vacation, and it did not disappoint! Our server, Flo, made us feel at home right from the start. She made great recommendations for both food and things to do in SoFla! We tried the koshari with lamb, and it was so good and flavorful. For dessert, we topped it off with the ladyfingers. Forget spring break partying, Mini Pita is where it’s at for late night happiness! Shout-out again to Flo for the amazing hospitality. Highly recommend for the delicious food and friendly service! Okay this was a last minute decision to stop and eat here. So glad I did!!! I arrive and it’s a cute little cafe! My server flow she was great, i wasn’t sure what to get since they have such great options so I stuck with the lamb chops, let me tell you they were fabulous! Definitely the best lamb chops I’ve had and flow made sure I was good to go, hooked me up with some spicy sauce! Over all great experience!! Definitely coming back when I come to town!!!

Very small and loud place with inferior quality food

Flo made this meal and evening glow! This was the BEST middle eastern food!! If you need a mood boost come visit Flo and enjoy amazing food!

The meat platter was exquisite! I'm used to green chili on everything where I come from. This tasted more like home than anywhere else I've ever been. The hot sauce is a secret recipe but I would sell the deed to my house for it. Flo made this amazing meal even better!

The FOODwas amazing! It was killer! Out of this world. Tina was our waitress and she was AWESOME! 10 out of 10 will recommend.

I have been eating at Mini Pita for years. Without exaggerating, it is the tastiest food in Fort Lauderdale. Locally prepared fresh ingredients and delicious dishes. The staff are really friendly and provide a wonderful atmosphere for a small restaurant.
