Mini Mango: a fresh take on Vietnamese and Thai cuisine

Took my wife here for a Valentines lunch. I had Bahn Mi pork meatball sub with extra meatballs, mango and jalapeños. Disappointed as the sandwich was basically flavorless and had a strange taste. My wife had the Pad Thai, when the dish arrived it stunk like someone strained the sauce through a dirty sock. The chicken was boiled and dry, the noodles & sauce were disgusting. My wife had 4 bites and could not eat any more. Bought this to the attention of the young lady at the front and she said this is the norm for the dish and would not refund for the Plate. Both of us felt off that afternoon, my wife thought she was going to get sick. There must be something going on in the kitchen as this establishment came highly recommended by friends. We love our food but will not return here as customers.

a hidden gem This place offers 5 star delicious Vietnamese and Thai food. Highly recommend the coconut satè soup and subs.

I got delivery from Mini Mango a while ago and was disappointed that the food was a bit cold by the time it arrived. Some of the food may be much better with a dine-in experience. In terms of food, I tried their Five-Colour Bowl (Beef, Chicken, Pork, Tofu, Prawn) with Coconut rice. Everything tasted fairly nice given that it was cold, but I find it slightly hard to justify the price given the portion…so I’d give it 7/10

It's baffling to me how this place has such great reviews. We ordered the 1/2 and 1/2 rolls, which are a spring roll inside of a quasi-salad roll. It was just lettuce.. and the spring roll had that bitter old fryer oil taste to it. We also ordered Bahn mi... It was not good. The lemongrass beef had a strange sweet sauce on it and the beef had like fake chargrill marks and was suspiciously tender. It was so wet that the bread was just mostly inedible because it was so soggy . All it had was the beef, cilantro and carrots. Zero thought given to food quality and taste for pick up orders. There are SO many Viet restaurants in Edmonton.. I just wouldn't ever return here or recommend it.

Been going to this place since it opened years ago. Service is always impeccable. And they are ao accomodating for my dietary restrictions. Great value and tasty too! Dietary restrictions: So many options to change each dish. I removed gluten, eggs and peanuts. Parking: Many in the strip mall Kid-friendliness: Love the value and size of the kids meal
