Giving this a 5 star review because the portion size of the lunch meal is a great deal for the price and the food was good too. I had the general tsao.
There's a reason that they won the Michelin Guides.
Almost perfect orange chicken
I was originally so excited to try this place! The ingredients they use seem to be fresh, and the food seems to be well prepared however, it lacks flavor. This has to be the most bland Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. It taste so bad that I wish I didn’t live far because i would have take it back. I will not be coming back!!!
Love it here so tasty! Fun view too! We got some dim sum items and their mongonlin beef and chicken fried rice. Too good to pass!
Their reservation system was... weird. You send in a request (web form), and they will confirm your reservation. But when we arrived, they didn't seem to care if you have a reservation or not. They open at 11am, we arrived at 11am, they have 5 groups waiting their already. We all got taken into the inner most sections (both seats), but the layout were so weird (L shapes), guests would face other guests... not a great design. They didn't ask if anyone has reservation, does not seem like they care or really manage it. Food were overall very good. The port belly were very fat though. Some food item arrived very late (like 20+ min apart from where we received our first item). The dining room got filled up quickly, still a very popular restaurant Chicago! Order on tablet, but need to hand the tablet to a server to submit the order. All in all, we will revisit when we are back to the area!
Happy they serve dim sum in evening too. We often go to Phoenix in Chinatown, but weren't headed to Chinatown this trip. When looking for a place to eat, this hit the spot. Enjoyed our dim sum selections that were big portions and good quality. We will probably choose this next time we want Chinese in downtown or Chinatown.
What else to say!!!!! Amazing food and outstanding service....... Give it a spin....chicken feets and the duck are out of this world
Egg rolls were oily, the Mongolian beef was 80% raw onions and 20% beef. Very overpriced menu. Everything very disappointing!
