After all the great reviews, I really wanted to try Ming Wong vs. Big Wong next door. I am disappointed to write about my negative food experience. We ordered cha siu/soy chicken over rice, salted fish/chicken fried rice and beef with pickled vegetables to go. The roast pork was fatty and chewy; the soy chicken was just ok. The worst was the fried rice. The rice was hard and stale sprinkled with cold uncooked peas. The beef with pickled veggies was tough. I am not sure if this was an off day since other diners had good food previously. From my experience, we will not be returning for dining or take out.
Duck was fatty and not crispy. Noodles with beef were tasty and better with chili sauce. Hot and sour soup was cold. Parking: Parking is virtually impossible. We took an Uber
Warm and comfort food. Best Cantonese bbq and congee in the city. It seems like dine-in taste is better than takeout.
The most tasteful Chinese food we had in Chinatown US! Would definitely recommend it as its cheap, its incredibly tasty, and the staff is amazing!
