Mimmo's

So good! The atmosphere, food and location are all perfect. This is a favorite of ours when we vacation in San Diego. We all have our favorites and everything is wonderful. Their Bolignese and meatballs are exceptional. Come hungry! Huge portions.

Better than I expected. It was my first time in Little Italy and I had a great experience. Clam pasta was the best.

The food was served quickly and prepared well. Loved the atmosphere.

I don't like it here, service and food not good for me.

Worst “lasagne” I ever tried to eat. Do not recommend.

Had no wait for a table of two at 6:00 a Sunday. We were promptly brought bread and dipping oil. The bread was fantastic. We ordered the Caprese which is much bigger than the pictures made it look. Our main dish was the pappardelli pasta with creamy pesto and blackened chicken. It was phenomenal. With so many great Italian choices in this area, we were glad we landed here.

My partner and I have been to Mimmo's two times before, making this the third time. The first time is the only time we had a good experience with the food and service. The waitress was attentive and made sure we go what we needed, which is what made us come back a second time. The second time wasn't as great as the first time. The waiter was not very attentive but the food was great. The third time is when we had horrible service. The waiter took 15 minutes to come greet us, which was ok as we were still deciding what to eat and asked him to come back in a few minutes... few minutes turned into another 15 minutes. He finally comes, get our order and goes to put our order in. The food came out hot and quick and was delicious as always; and when the waiter delivered the food we had asked for extra dressing and another plate. As we are eating our meal, the waiter does not stop by to check how the food is or stop by to give us the sides we asked for. We finished our food and waited another 15 minutes with our waiter no where to be found, and at that point we flagged down another waiter to get our check. After paying for our check, the original waiter came back to give us our card back and then said "oh sorry I never brought your sides". Worst part is the waiter was like this with all the other tables. We will not be returning as it seems this place is going downhill and becoming overpriced for the quantity of food.

We booked a table in advance and decided to celebrate my birthday there together with my husband. Loved the setting, but it was quite crowded and noisy, if you like a more private environment, be aware. We really enjoyed the food, especially the Caprese salad. You brought me tiramesu dessert as a compliment and you made me happier. Thank you!

En la entrada a little italy, lindo ambiente, los fines de semana medio ruidoso. Fuimos a comer liviano pero incluso asi comimos excelente. Pedimos unos aranccini riquísimos (me hubiese gustado q este mas caliente), chicken parmigian riquisimo y buena porcion, y dos ensaladas (la de pera destacadisima). El precio es un poco elevado pero nosotros somos sudacas siempre va a ser caro
