My steak dinner was excellent. Cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Husband's chicken dinner was also very good. First waitress had absolutely no personality. Second waitress was very nice and attentive. Only hiccup is that it is a bit pricy. We spent almost $70 for just two meals. Ouch!

I was there with a group. I can only speak about my experience. The last time I had been to Mimi's had been prior to the COVID days. The changes were noticeable. It was not the same Mimi's, I remember. One of the major changes is that they used to bring you out a free appetizer of Warm Pumpernickel, Marbled and Rye Breads, and butter. In fact, Mimi's was the first place I had ever tried many of these bread. That was one reason it was so disheartening that they had disappeared. My lunch was A Tuna Melt type of sandwich, but the tuna mix seemed dry, and the slice of cheese was not melted. I did like the bread, but it was beneath Mimis standard and lackluster tasting much like Subways Herb and Cheese Bread. The fries that came with the order were quite sparse. They were not piled like the old days. I could actually count the fries. Approximately 17 or so. Even my wife noticed it did not come close to filling the plate. The entree came with a soup on the side. The French onion soup was the only thing that reminded me of Mimi's at its previous glory. It was very cheesy and tasty. The prices overall had also increased significantly since prior to COVID, but this seems to have affected all businesses. Last but not least, Mimis used to always be so busy that you could barely get an open table. That is no longer the case. The servers were very good at their work, but the overall vibe of the whole restaurant might be described as quieter and less robust. I hope that with time there prices will improve. I hope they offer senior specials that were absent from this menu, and I hope they bring back the free bread appetizers.
