Mimi's Cafe

Server was excellent, however the food was just ok and pricey.

This was our first trip to Mimi's on north academy and all we can say is WOW! Mica was our server and from the very start she took care of us in a way that made us feel like we were her only customers although the dining room was pretty full. She was elegant with recommendations and the food was absolutely excellent! Thank you Mica and Mimi's for a truly enjoyable meal experience! Highly recommend this location!

Food was pretty good, service was great, but overpriced.

We had an amazing dinner at Mimi's. Renee was our server and she was fantastic. She had a great attitude and was attentive. We will definitely return!

Terrible first experience at Mimi's Cafe. We waited 45 minutes with a reservation and an infant in tow. We didn't realize we had been skipped until our second time checking the status of our place in line. The hostess wasn't rude but certainly wasn't friendly either. We weren't warned that it was taking up to an hour for food to come out until we overheard a waitress telling another group that had just been seated. I would recommend the hostess take phone numbers to text groups when their table is ready like many restaurants do. When the situation with being skipped was identified at the hostess station, none of the hostesses seem to care and were very unapologetic. I don't know if the food is any good but I doubt I'll ever find out.

Just waited 45 minutes in line with a reservation on Easter Sunday just to find out they skipped us, after we had checked in with the hostess to check our status in line. It’s very loud with lots of people waiting, so if you can’t hear your name, you are just out of luck. No phone numbers taken to call or text when the table was ready. We overheard the waitress mention food was taking up to an hour to come out even after people finally get a table. Would not trust your reservation here because they don’t help at all and apparently give out way too many for each time slot. Hostesses were less than friendly. Made for a frustrating attempt at an Easter lunch. This was our first and last visit to this restaurant.

Crab cakes were mushy as if there was tuna in them. A basic glass of reiseling was $12. Salad was flat. Fish and chips were small and pressed fish. Server was great. The entry way smells like sewage. $107 for lunch
