I was born and raised in Milwaukee and we lived at 27th st and fondulac Ave and North Ave. Actually 2738 w Medford. Loved growing up there. I still miss the old brewery downtown. We lived on the north side of Milwaukee until 1967 and then we moved to Sussex. I miss Milwaukee I live in El paso Tx now and miss all our German friends we had in the neighborhood it was a fun time back then.
Returned after many years and it’s changed a lot. Unfortunately we couldn’t finish any of our beers. Not good. The koolers were so bad, oat meal stout, cream ale all were not good. Order at the table and servers were swift and friendly, still won’t be back.
Great place, extremely fast service with online ordering. Huge selection of beers, decent selection of bar food. Sandwiches, nachos, cheese curds are all good!
The portions are large. I got the German sampler and there was enough for two. The small pretzel was a great starter. Service was very friendly.
Super awesome. We drove in from Michigan to try a beer or two. Which we did and then Chef Ryan came out with a slider sampler. These are really amazing. Especially the chicken. Truly highly recommended from this guy. I'm sure the rest of his creations are great.
Wish they didn’t sell. Misplaced our food and was man handled by 3 difference people people realizing they just let it sitting cold at the end of the bar. Very disappointing. Waitress was nice, it was another waitress that didn’t pay attention.
Loved this place. I’ll miss the tours since according to the guy I just talked to , they were bought out and not MKE anymore.
One day in a tavern I bumped into an individual by accident he truned to me saying "I'm from Boston ey's kick your A$$" I said slow down House of Pain and bought him a Sam Adams. With rage and disgust in his face he took the bottle broke it and presented towards me in a knife like fashion. How dare you buy me this swill. Quick to think I grabbed a MKE IPA, dropping his shank and slamming down the IPA a heavenly look of peace came across his face. I also stated that Milwaukee Brewing Company offers a large selection of other Ale's, IPA's and Lagers. We've been BFF'S ever since. Thank you Milwaukee Brewing Company for uniting us in Beer.
