Miller's Grocery A Country Cafe

First time ever at Miller's even though the area is my old stomping grounds. My parents live on corner of the square. My bf took me and my parents there for lunch last Sat. I was excited to try considering it's got a good rep but I was not impressed. The "decor" was just old stuff... nothing worth really checking out. Chairs were on low spot of floor while table was on high spot so table came up to my arm pits. I asked server b4 I ordered if they actually take a piece of tenderized steak, batter, then fry. I was told yes but received gross prebattered frozen steak. My bf got country fried chicken and had a plate full of over cooked batter left in plate. My mom's beef n onions tasty like dinty Moore beef stew. Unless they go back to cooking country food the right way... we won't b back. How hard is it to take a piece of tenderized steak, throw it in some flour, then throw it in a frying pan, little salt n pepper...gahhh

The Sunday buffet is back. It was very delicious, but at $24.99 per adult is a bit expensive. Drinks were extra.

Not the same. Process are up and they were missing half the ingredients for a salad on a Saturday.

Food was great the buffet was an awesome add to Millers

Love the atmosphere and thankful the buffet was brought back! The price has definitely gone up! Will not be able to visit as often. Maybe still working out some kinks since returning the buffet. Food wasn't as hot and the desserts were served in a different way (tiny condiment cups portioned out.) Hope they will consider going back to the old way the buffet was served.

Great food and service! We had salmon patties and the pulled pork. Everything was delicious!
