Military Hospitality Lounge

I came by at 4:13pm before my international flight. Just wanted to use a few minutes to charge up and check my emails . I rung the doorbell 3 times , not even 1 acknowledgment.

Kudos to Miss Angela Deggs (Volunteer Member), the Charity, and the City of Miami! The facility surpassed my expectations not to mention the warm, cozy atmosphere!

I don't get all the bad reviews for this place. If they aren't open, I'm sorry. This is volunteer run, so if they are open when you need, be thankful! They don't have to open at all. I had no problem leaving my bags in the designated space. It makes sense to not have bags pilled all over the room. Grabbed what we needed and headed to the family room. No one said we had to be there, but it was nice to have a space my kids could freely move around and make noise without bothering others. The smaller recliners were still plenty comfortable. Food choices were limited (bagels and snacks), lots of drinks, but again free (we made a donation!) and appreciative. The two gentlemen there were both very nice and friendly. Thank you for providing this great space for this tired, traveling family!

Needed a quiet place to wait for my flight and this was it. Snacks and the most comfortable chairs in the whole airport!

Just perfect for what I needed for my family. This is not a USO. They did a great job. Honestly in my travels this is one of the better places I've been to for when I've had extra before a flight. The staff was great and the facility was good.

Very clean easy to visit with people

Great place to relax…especially when your flight gets delayed for 7 hours. One of the largest MHL/USO we’ve visited. My wife and I travel a lot, and try to visit them when we can. Great recliners that were very comfortable. Nice to have restrooms in the facility and/or very close outside the door. Very large place to store luggage. Very good WiFi with great speed. About the only thing to mark down here were the food choices, and the hours of operation. I’m not a complaining person so I won’t complain, at least they had hot coffee!!

Very relaxed area. Storage area for luggage. Open 9-5pm. Has some snacks but not a wide variety due to it being ran on donation basis. It is not a USO.

It was so peaceful and relaxing. The staff was so awesome!! Would stay here everytime!!
