Food was ho hum. Chef used the same spatula that was used to transfer the raw chicken on to the griddle to then flip and handle the shrimp and beef that was being cooked, so that was disgusting...watch what they are doing.

When we checked into the world's largest Marriott we assumed the restaurants would be top notch, but that was not the case. Mikado Steakhouse was booked completely out for the first 2 days we were there for private parties so it must be good food there, right? Not so much. Reservations were required each evening we checked to add our party's name, so by the time we checked on Day #4 we just decided to order our meal as carryout. We ordered chicken & shrimp fried rice, 1 order with extra egg (I need my protein). It took approximately 25 minutes for these 2 dishes to be prepared and the clock seemed to move so slowly. Hibachi dishes are 1 of our favorite meals and we looked forward to eating the food. We took the food up to the room and the first thing we noticed was there was no extra egg on either dish. Digging through the fried rice in 1 of the cartons there were like 3 shrimp in the entire dish! Talk about major disappointment. Then I proceeded to take a bite only to realize that this tasted like a frozen dinner. You know what green peas look and taste like when it's been in the freezer, right? I promise you that's how these tasted. The kicker is the cost was $70 for these 2 nasty dishes. Why would they serve me food from their abuela's frozen section?

Overpriced Menu, Under quality Food… Service Attentively Average. Food Quality, meh. Salad very disappointing. Entertainment… I’ve had better. Price? Definitely not worth it. I’ve had better for cheaper.

The chef that made the food was good the only thing is I wish they included the noodles and fried rice instead of having to charge it separate and only include steam rice. But the drink I got was the plum wine and it was sweet the way I like it. They do give a complimentary cake for your birthday so that was a nice perk. I also got the steamed GOYZA and it was good.

Came here Tuesday night during Holiday Matsuri. They weren't busy. I made a reservation on Open Table to be sure, just in case they were. It's actually outside of the hotel but still attached. There's a giant sign above a door that leads to an outdoor area that you walk over to get to it. The hostess stand is large and in the middle. I did notice they didn't have a separate area for sushi, everyone just sat at the hibachi tables. The host and server and chef were great. I let them know I was gluten and dairy free. I was bummed I couldn't have the salad or miso soup since both had some sort of gluten in it. Soy is notorious for having gluten sadly. The yum yum sauce even had dairy in it. But it was a fate I was willing to accept and I took lactaid when I went back to my room. Everything was really delicious otherwise. The restroom was also nice and clean too. Overall it wasn't too bad for pricing, I was worried, but I managed to only have it be around $30 for what I had and tip. Dietary restrictions: They took my gluten and dairy allergy seriously

Regular food (what you can expect from a hotel restaurant?) But if you don’t have other place to go for dinner, since the hotel is middle of no where, this is a pretty good option.
