Superb. Three courses, three staff members and not a false note anywhere. The tenderest, most perfectly cooked chicken teriyaki I have ever tasted. One of the best Japanese restaurants we’ve been to across the globe. Thank you.

I took my almost 4 year old here for lunch recently and we had the best time! The fish was so fresh and the hand rolls were stuffed full! Very affordable given the quality of sushi. Truly some of the best sushi I’ve had in a long time. John took care of us and he couldn’t have been more gracious and sweet. What started as a last minute casual lunch, turned out to be a memorable afternoon with my son. Highly recommend!!

Amazing spot

I went to Mikado on a Saturday night. Service was great. Their waitress and waiter were so sweet and helpful. I went with high expectations because of how pretty everything was. The food was not horrible but definitely not coming back to this restaurant for their entrees or appetizers. I ordered their truffle & bacon fried rice. I was really excited about this entree because it was so different & also the addition of truffle popped out to me. I did not taste or smell a single droplet of truffle in that dish. It tasted like regular fried rice. I also had their super bowl which is uni, toro, shrimp over rice, I think their uni came from santa monica or something, it wasnt hokkaido. I think because they used a different uni it was fishy and didnt pair well with the other sashimis. For appetizer, I had the scallop and it just … was my lest favorite out of my whole meal. The sauce was sweet and citrusy, it just was not my cup of tea. It could taste better to someone else. The best thing I had from this restaurant was the handroll set for $27. Their sashimi portion was a good balance with the rice. It was really fresh & tasted amazing! I wish i spent my money on that instead of trying the other dishes. If this place was just a handroll restaurant, think it’d be getting a better rating out of me. If you come here,stick to the hand rolls! TRUST ME!!!
