Mika Sushi

The food is made with lots of love and you can taste it!!! One of my new favorites.... Vegetarian options: Wonderful vegetable salads and vegetable tempura, other items as well...

The sushi was amazingly fresh. The place was clean and the presentation was on point. I loved the quaint atmosphere. We had an appetizer of blue soft shell crab. The breading was a bit thick and the crab was rather moist. The flavors were good but I'm not sure I would order that if I went back. Only because the balance of bread to fish ratio was so so. I think this combination could have been pronounced better with a sauce. We also ordered some egg rolls but again, their sushi was so good, had I to do over again I would have saved all my stomach space for another roll instead of the appetizer. The sushi was 5 stars +, the egg rolls 3.5*, and the soft shell crab 3.5. The mango tango roll had so many flavors going on I did not even want to use the soy sauce as it may overpowered all of the other delicate flavors happening within the roll. Same with the crazy monkey, loved the cashews and sauces and did not want to overpower the delicate flavors with soy sauce. The service was attentive to all of our needs. We also had Yuki Sake and that was delicious with a slightly sweet taste but not overwhelming. I would go back there in a heartbeat for their sushi and service. Today we take you to mika sushi in the City of Orange. we ordered the Sapporo roll which is Albacore and yellow tail in a spicy California roll we also got the C1razy monkey roll which is Smoked salmon Mango cashew cream cheese avocado and special sauce. Seaweed salad on the side please... We aldo had the Baked lobster roll with Crabmeat Masago crawfish. This I liked the best! Soo good! Meccha oishi! Socalweekendwalkarounds recommends! Delicious food and amazing service. Came here with my mom and we're definitely coming back.

Small place with delicious sushi, bento boxes, upon noodles. I only the yellowtail belly nigiri and the Jessica roll, which were excellent, but my favorite is always the yellowtail. It has the right amount of fat, and it just melts in your mouth. For appetizers, try the miso soup and gyoza.
