Definitely coming back for their smoked short-rib lasagna. The staff was so sweet and welcoming. Cannot wait to come back in the summer for a sunset dinner.
We had such an amazing night at Mida. The vibes were immaculate. Justin, Abby and Corey took such good care of us the entire night! They were attentive and provided the best recommendations. The food pairings felt very thoughtful and fun. The duck wings, crispy polenta, and the carrots were the perfect way to start. We had several of the sweet cocktails and they were all refreshing. We loved the Amalfi Coast and the Tropicales. We also really enjoyed the pork pasta and the braised short rib lasagna. 10/10 would totally recommend. And we’ll definitely be back. Finally, we were feeling satisfied but needed to try the gelato in addition to some lovely dessert drinks. The gelato was elegant and a perfect cap to the night, appreciated the smart dash of olive oil to bring out the texture and flavor!! All in all, while the food and ambiance was very charming - the real treat was the folks who keep Mida running. Special shout out to Corey for sharing a beautiful list of spots that were just as special in the area ❤️ We love you, Mida
I've been to MIDA three times. The food has always been excellent, and the location is stunning, but the previous two times, including last night, we were disappointed in the service. We've had food come out at different times, waited a long time with empty wine glasses and, last night, we got our last entree after we said we didn't want it anymore because everyone else had already finished eating. They still brought us the entree and didn't charge us, but my wife pretty much rushed to eat a few bites before packing the rest up to go. Our waiter was pleasant and understanding, but could have done a better job of communicating about the delay. I really want to love MIDA, but I probably won't return after having poor experiences with service twice in a row. I was hoping my first bad experience was due to them only being opened a short time, but was disappointed to have another bad experience last night.
The Eastie location is beautiful.
Food is good but not great.service was slow because of the amount of staff
Very hard to find no signs on building and buried 1-2 blocks from any type of street.Food excellent had a white pizza with classic and bacon, very salty but I expected that with the grana padano and bacon my daughter had gnocchi with she liked very much .I ordered a bloody Mary for a starters cocktail with tasted a little different from what you would expect but I still enjoyed it got there for the brunch menu somewhat limited.
Honestly, on par or a step above most places you’d find in the north end. Views of the city were incredible. Service was top notch and attentive. All of our food was extremely fresh and perfectly seasoned. Cocktails were perfectly balanced and still strong. The carbonara was the highlight of the night. My only other feedback would be that the arrangement of the tables is a bit awkward. It doesn’t feel very private and we could hear all of the conversation from the tables next to us all night.
the views alone make this a great spot for drinks and nice dinners. bartenders make some great drinks, i always enjoy a nicely made old fashioned. definitely make a reservation. the wait to grab a table or a seat at the bar is looooooong.
Food really nothing impressive there, you can see $28 for an amatriciana pasta and you'll see the portion size we weren't offer cheese at the table the server were attentive and accommodating to our needs but definitely you better shape up your game there... That cheap version of the Bolognese won't make it... A beautiful layout place at the waterfront but food needs to improve 10 times. The rock shrimp carbonara tasted more like scampi... Didn't find guanciale/panceta, just the acidic flavor from lemons missing that creamy egg and Romano sauce.
