Mickey's is a gem for those looking to make genuine connections, enhanced by its warm and inviting atmosphere, thanks to the heater on the patio. This bar is a favorite among not just musicians but a wide array of Nashville locals. Its lack of live music actually serves as an advantage, creating a quieter environment that's perfect for conversation, allowing you to truly connect with people. The culture of social smoking, despite its health implications, oddly contributes to the sense of community. Alongside the social aspects, the affordable beer, the beloved jukebox, pool table, foosball, and darts offer endless entertainment. Given its compact size, Mickey's offers an intimate setting that almost guarantees new acquaintances and potentiallly deeper relationships. It's an ideal spot for anyone looking to socialize in a more personal and warm setting defined by its red lighting aesthetic.
This place will always have special meaning to me. I try to stop by any time I’m down in Nashville and I’m happy to say not much has changed. Great place.
Great local bar with great prices. Great staff. Definitely worth the drive
Holy stuff! Guys, what can I say about Mickey's ? It's a pretty good place. I didn't talk to any other people there, but they seemed pretty cool. They were smoking, cool cigarettes, and they had cool clothes on, and they generally seem kind of nice. They have drinks, they have a little bit of food (maybe) ? They had music on - a jukebox . Worth going.
