Michael's Restaurant

This was my 1st and last time eating here. I and my husband came in thinking it's beautiful in here and looked well organized. Fast forward, we ordered water and I asked for a straw and it took 10 minutes to get that. We were not asked if we wanted an appetizer. The Lamb chops are good but definitely not worth $52.00. Once food was out, I asked for water 3 times and no lie I did not get it, til I was about to go. They are charging u a tip upfront Knowing they are not going to give u good service. The service sucks. They don't keep your drinks filled nor do they check on you. The lady with the earring hook in her nose has awful service. I guess her name is Danestris? I can say they checked on us 1 time and that's out of 1 hour. They need some quality people working there. The POINT is, whether they give bad or awful service, they're saying, we're still getting PAID. Michael's Restaurant service sucks! Please DONT GO THERE! Parking: Parking is awful.

It is restaurant week, so I had the lambchops. They were perfectly prepared! It came with my choice appetizer or dessert and my choice of soup or salad. I had the bread pudding. I think it was the best I have ever had, and I lived in New Orleans for about 12 years! They are doing many things right here!

NOTE: I edited my review because they contacted me ASAP to explain the Birmingham weather situation! Closed, entrance padlocked, had to go to B-Dubs. Was really looking forward to a ribeye!! EDIT: appreciate your response, and understand the reason. If I can't make it tomorrow, I will do so my next trip (one of every 4 weeks) and adjust my review accordingly!

Love this place

Love the place, the people are very respectful and the food is good. Highly recommend. Also, we got to meet the owner. Loved it!

Came here for my friend’s birthday dinner and EVERYTHING was top tier! The food, the customer service. I had the Salmon Rockerfeller with Garlic Mashed Potatoes. We also met the owner she’s super sweet! Definitely Will be back

We absolutely loved it . The owner the waitress the chef everyone. Five stars 10 actually. 100% enjoyed it . I definitely recommend to everyone
