Michael's Downtown

Visited with a friend, and, overall, enjoyed our experience. The food was good, but the service was slow and inattentive for an upscale establishment. The lasagna was the stand-out dish - the meat was extremely flavorful, lots of cheese, and the pasta was fresh. There was tons of sauce - it was served in a deep-disk skillet - that was also flavorful. They have a great little bar with a fireplace in the center, which would be wonderful on a chilly evening. The calamari was fresh, but just a bit greasy. I'm sure we'll visit again.

We went here for the pasta and had an excellent meal. We will hopefully go back to try the pizza which looked incredible as well.

Was way better when I use to live in Long Beach. Pizza was not italiano cosi.

Our server, Marina is/was delightful! We enjoyed our dinner so much. If you've never dined here, you need to go.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere

Delicious food and great atmosphere. The chef often spoke with the tables. He was also very engaged with his staff. You can tell they like and respect him. We highly recommend.

Food is not worth the high prices.

Amazing authentic Italian cuisine! Sam is the best server, he suggested the best wine ! His energy is amazing ! Food is so delicious I wanted to take the cook back with me !
