Michael’s Bagels

I was surprised to see such poor ratings here - I'm not a regular but after today i would be! I phoned in my order when i was enroute w/2 hangry young kids. I couldn't get out of car with them so they brought out to my car & let me pay that way. I was surprised/ put off that they didn't accept cc - definitely hurts them from more business including myself cause i never carry cash but i was happy the svc i got. I called several bagel places on Austin before going there - they either didn't pick up the phone, said they don't take phone/ pickup orders (huh?!) or weren't patient enough to walk me thru what flavor bagels they had for my picky eaters. That alone sold me.

Not tasty bagels. The blueberry, raisin, and onion bagels were very salty. There were barely any blueberries or raisins in the bagels.

Pretty bad bagel place for NYC standards and the worst in forest hills.

Very disgusting attitude from the workers .. DO NOT GO TO THIS TERRIBLE DIRTY STORE . They don’t know to how treat OR SPEAK TO their customers and their bagels are over priced .. LEARN HOW TO SPEAK TO YOUR CUSTOMERS . I RATHER GO TO DUNKING ACROSS THE STREET THAN EVER STEP FOOT IN THIS STORE AGAIN .. I ADVISE EVERYONE TO PLEASE STAY AWAY ! Better bagel shops near by .

I went in today for a bagel at around 3:11pm, it appeared as though they were closed, I asked if they were still open, a grumpy man replied, “Well what do you want?” I replied, “just a bagel with something on it…” then a woman came out and prepared my bagel. It was very tasty, but for $5.75 I thought they were pretty skimpy with the cream cheese. I won’t go back because of how rude they were.

Very fresh & delicious.

Bagels are chewy and not good.
