Mia Bella Trattoria

I joined a friend at the bar: 15 minutes to get served. We were seated for dinner. After an initial check the server abandoned us for 15 more minutes even though we were ready to order. Bread was delivered. So dry and tough it took two hands to break off a portion. Appetizers came out promptly. Beef carpaccio was good sized and tasty though dry and lacking olive oil which was brought out upon request. Friend’s mushroom struedel was also tasty, but pastry itself need a steak knife to cut through it. 5 minutes into appetizers the entrees (2 chicken Marsala) were delivered. We asked the server to take them back and keep them warm until we finished our appetizers. Server agreed and said she would “freshen them up” prior to bringing them back. Entrees are delivered back to us. Both entrees were COLD. Gnocchi was hot, but both Marsala were cold and friend’s potatoes cold. Called for the manager who arrived with zero personality. We explained the situation and asked for the entrees to be sent back. He stared at us and took the entrees saying he would check “the delivery ticket.” What? He thought we were making it up? We asked that the entrees be removed from our tab. He arrived with a dessert menu. Was he offering a complimentary dessert to make up for the entree debacle? Never explained and we passed on dessert. Tried to pay the tab but server no where in sight. Had to go to the kitchen to find her. This is a lovely restaurant but our visit was clearly not. At the prices they charge, one would expect everything to be near-flawless.Won’t be returning.

It was an amazing experience. I ordered the tortellini with smoke duck and it was DELICIOUS the sangria was great also. Our server was very polite and attentive with us. 100% recommended

My first experience was not the greatest. The patio was nice and I enjoyed the fresh air.

You can’t go wrong with Mia Bella! We have been here for anything from brunch to happy hour after work to celebrating big family events to romantic dinners. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. We have never had a bad experience with service. The food itself is to die for; large portions of authentic dishes and fresh bread that absolutely will have you trying not to ruin your meal via scarfing it down. I’ve had anything from seafood pasta to the catch of the day and have never been disappointed. I’ve been in after athletic competitions and had the same service as when I’m fully formally dressed up.
