Excellent tasting experience both food and wine, each course was all about flavor.

Food quality and value was phenomenal. The menu changes, but when we went all the seafood was so fresh and expertly prepared for very nicely flavored dishes. The breads and dessert are amongst the best we’ve had. Their wine list is nice, with unique wines curated from under-represented regions. The sommelier recommended wine was perfect for our taste and meal. The restaurant itself is tastefully decorated and very spacious. I liked the open kitchen gives you a view of the cooking. Overall an excellent experience I hope to repeat soon.

Food was tasty, but for $100 a head and to still be hungry afterward, why spend that much dough? Also wait staff is surly. We endured a couple hours of quiet judging disdain from a wait person who is obviously not very happy. Again, I ask, why spend $100 a person to subject yourself to that? I guess some people just like to spend a bunch of money to be treated poorly. Not me.

Stopped in with a few work colleagues and went for the 12-course tasting experience (I opted for beverage pairings as well). The atmosphere and service were nice and casual, which was appreciated by my colleagues. The sommelier was very knowledgeable about the beverage pairings and spent time chatting about some of the more interesting pairings. The food was decent, but in my opinion, wasn't reflective of the price point of the experience. Every protein was cooked pretty well but I did find that several of the courses were underseasoned or slightly unbalanced. Highlights for me were the charred yam and apple sorbet.

Went there months ago, food was ok, the asparagus salad was very impressive. I like their vibe (open kitchen) and tablewares they are using.

One of the best Colombians restaurants in the Bay Area. Menu is always so amazing and people there is very nice.

We had the pre fixe menu for restaurant week and the food and drinks were incredible! Every course was beautiful and delicious.

My partner and I went here for our anniversary and it was such a great experience. I’m not a foodie but knew that this was simply amazingly prepared food. And the variety of creatively paired drinks were thoughtfully crafted. Perhaps what stood out for me the most was there was a houseless person outside on the street expressing how hungry he was. We came back with a bite of food for him from a neighboring bar the same time the head chef of Mägo walked out with some prepared food for him. That alone makes me really want to come back to this place.

Absolutely fantastic. Hard to describe without sounding cliched (elegant & attentive service but unpretentious, etc. etc.) but every aspect was on point. Food and beverage pairings included tons of surprising flavors that were still easy to enjoy (the coffee reduction which I had on flounder, candy cap flan, Franconia wine, and sake were all highlights). Excellent vegetarian accomodations. Just an all-around great meal in a space and with people who are at the top of their game.
