I never post reviews but the horrible experience at this restaurant forced me to post so that other people can make wise decision. 1st time to the restaurant. The owner/chef is VERY RUDE and unprofessional. I went there with my daughter and i asked one of the server if we have to wait to be seated or we can sit anywhere as the restaurant was not crowded at all. She told me to sit anywhere! Me and my daughter sat and when my husband came to join us the owner started saying in loud voice that i will not be able to serve you for 30-40mins since you came and sat by yourself. And when i tried to explain him that it was one of his server who told us to sit anywhere, instead of listening to us and trying to solve the confusion as a professional, he started screaming on us and said i will not serve you!! Is this the way you treat your customers!!! You were not even that busy! The restaurant was half empty! If you can't even handle few people at your restaurant, you should train yourself and your staff better. I would honestly give zero stars if google let me!

Best margherita pizza I've had in a while!

SO RUDE. Important - The owner who is also chef/boss/abusive/abusive/uncivil/insulting is the worst person i've ever come across working in a service industry and that is saying much. He can not handle stress, is impatient and by looks of it, underpays his employees who are also scared of him. Details: My wife, our daughter and I were in south coast plaza (where Apple Store is) and were hungry. My wife saw this place and suggested that I get a table/reservation for us since we had some shopping left. When I went in, there was no server or person to be found nor I saw any instructions (only on my 3rd scan of the place) on what to do. Most tables were empty but we still waited for someone to come. I inquired about the reservation and she said there is no waiting and we can sit anywhere. I went back to get my wife and informed her that there is no reservation needed. Later, my wife and daughter went to the place and when I went to join them, the person mentioned above started shouting that he wont serve us for next 40 min since we sat down ourselves. I told him that my family is here and he says "doesnt matter and they sat down themselves". I asked my wife about it and she said she asked a server before seating. So she went to discuss with the rude person who is still shouting by the way. She kept trying to explain him but he kept cutting her off. The rude person said to get the server who she had inquired with before. He kept saying blonde while my wife kept saying its not a blonde server. Anyways, a blonde person walked over to inquire what was happening. My wife was explaining to her when this rudest person kept interrupting her. Thats when I intervened and said to him - You have to let my wife finish. Thats when suddenly he starts blabbering and saying that I am insulting him. I mean cmon! I told him that My daughter (who is 6 year old) asked me why is that person being so rude and I told her that he is busy. I was actually taking his side. And then he says - I wont serve you - Get Out! As if we were going to stay there. And then he walked away just as we told him that is needs to learn manners and train his employees better. We had more things to say but decided he and his place is not worth our time and attention. There are other reviews on yelp and google with similar experience. We got lucky that we didnt have to eat their food too as it is too bad. Beware before you enter this place!

One of my favorite dining places in Orange County!

I paid 45$ for what was supposed to be lamb Tagine. It was waste of money, tasted like bunch of vegetable cooked in cane tomato’s sauce . It was horrible . The owner/chef came to my table after I paid and was about to leave .started talking to me with a rude tone and said “ you finished the meat and still didn’t like it ?” He started arguing with me . So rude !!! The funny part I paid and did not ask for anything free . But still he was not happy that I gave him my feed back on the food . This is not authentic Moroccan food . I have been to other places and the food was so delicious and tasty . The server also had an attitude from the get go . This place is weird .I guess they make more money if you sit at the bar and keep ordering alcohol . Food is not their specialty !!!!

Stopped to eat here with family and was helped by a tall blond waitress... she was dressed super unprofessional, crop top that looked like a bra, and black and white checkered flared pants, she also had a furry bucket hat... its definitely not professional to dress like that in a family restaurant with kids around... also she didn't bring me any thing, other people helped with bringing my food and drinks, also the pizza was really hard and over cooked ... anyway, I was not expecting for a person that looked ready to go clubbing help me as a waitress .... I was expecting to be helped by a person in uniform... super unprofessional of this restaurant for allowing that...
