After driving around for over an hour looking for a breakfast spot I come to metro diner and boy I'm glad I did the service was amazing from the second we sat down to the second we left the food portions were big and delicious and the sweet tea was the best I've ever had if you find yourself in the area do your stomach a favor and stop by
Omg! Wow the food and service were amazing!
The chickens and waffles here were spectacular. I looked all over the area for fried chicken that was as good as what I ate in my hometown, and it wasn't until I ate at the Metro Diner when I found some seriously good fried chicken that lives up to what I ate growing up. Edit: updating more than a few years later (5/5/2023) this place is still very good. Ordered the fish and chips, and it is extraordinarily good.
Ordered Fried Chicken Benedict. Food was super salty, bread was old, eggs were hard, hollandaise sauce almost none. Overall: Not good. This Metro Diner is short-staffed too.
Great service. Vegetarian options: Breakfast is good
My food was great. The waitress was really nice we had a good experience because of her. Unfortunately my girlfriend ordered the carnitas scramble bowl and the pork came out undercooked. We had already eaten a good portion of it before we realized something was wrong. The manager was fair and did not charge us for that meal but now that i think about it, the whole brunch should have been on the house because we could’ve got poisoned. Anyway we didn’t make a big deal, the waitress was really cool with us so all in all we weren’t too disappointed. We’ll probably avoid that pork next time or at least cut in and make sure its fully cooked before consuming. Lesson learned!
