We went and tried the brisket at 3 places around Austin and this one was by far the best!
I would not go again. It was some of the worse BBQ I’ve ever had. This was surprising because of the positive reviews. It is inside a bar, so most of the reviews are probably from people expecting dive bar food. My boyfriend got the nachos (the cheese tasted old) and I got a Meat Plate. The meat was burned and dry. Save your time & money and go eat somewhere else.
The bbq was awesome The bar and restaurant and separate business. A dive bar with a great bbq place attached Youngsters bar but worth the trip for the bbq. Will make another visit. Bar ok I'm a beer drinker so the beer was cold and staff quick
Max cheese was cold. Brisket was mediocre and only a couple slices in the one meat plate.
Place seems chill and all, but not a date spot. Brought my girl into the place for dinner and it was a pretty bad choice. The people charging food charged me a plate when I ordered a sandwich. The guineas I got from the draft was really flat and old… I wouldn’t come in unless you’re ready to waste your hard earned money.
Mac & cheese is a bit bland, and it was obvious that the 7-layer dip was frozen.
Brisket has 1/4 inch of fat on it and it’s salty with no flavor=1 Turkey has nice smoke. Both overpriced.
