The food isn't very consistent, unfortunately, but when it's good, it's really good. Very happy that it's 100% gluten-free.

Maybe somewhat pricey for the portion size but the food was great and entirely gluten free which is awesome! And a busy and fun location. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

This was my family’s first time eating at Mestizo and we were not disappointed. I have Celiac and my daughter has a severe dairy intolerance. For once, all 3 of us were able to order several dishes to SHARE! This never happens at restaurants with our many dietary restrictions. My non-GF/DF husband loved everything, too. Note: the entire restaurant is 100% gluten free and Celiac safe, but there is dairy present in some of the dishes. However, it was very easy for them to accommodate us by taking an ingredient off, etc. Our favorites were the fried shrimp, elote, fish tacos, and the chicken tinga tostados. The drinks were also amazing. The waitstaff is attentive and kind and our food came out super fast, but still incredibly fresh. The flavors are what put this restaurant over the top for me. Everything had a very specific (delicious) flavor that made the dish special. Do NOT miss out on the GF gem! (I suggest getting a reservation for weekend nights and possibly even weekday night.) My family and I cannot wait to go back! Dietary restrictions: 100% dedicated gluten free restaurant. They also serve several vegan and vegetarian dishes. Dairy free is easy to do here, too.

I was moved by my dining experience - incredible food (fresh and flavorful) fantastic staff, and best margarita, hands down. As someone with Celiac, it was so awesome to have all menu options available to choose.

Such amazing food and amazing service!! Best margarita I’ve ever had! Junior is a great server with a million dollar smile. Wonderful dinner all around! Dietary restrictions: Wonderful to gave an entire gluten free restaurant so there were no issues!

We were able to sneak in early on Valentine's Day without a reservation. There were two other diners when we were seated, every table was filled before we left. Tried a little bit of everything, from pork belly to banana flower tacos. Everything was amazing and would recommend, kitchen had no problem excluding cilantro if that doesn't agree with you.

It’s been so long since I have had such a pleasant dining experience! The food here is incredible and I cannot wait to come back to try more of the menu. The ceviche is a large portion and the fried banana flower tacos were AMAZING! I’d never tried that before and was blown away. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free kitchen celiac safe
