Message in a Bottle

The hostess was nice and welcoming. The restaurant atmosphere reminded us of old school restaurants by the sea. Crowd was older. Tomato bisque was good enough but awkward to share as we were not given 2 spoons. Our entrees were good. I really enjoyed the seafood pasta. Service was awkward throughout and we waited over 15 minutes for our check after making the request.

Wife and I celebrated our 25th Anniversary and were warmly welcomed by our incredible host Marcus and server Casey. Stephanie the general mgr. started us off with glasses of champagne to kick off the celebration. The appetizers were on point (Shrimp Cocktail and also Ceviche). Hushpuppies were good with their tasty sauce. Our entrees were excellent! Crabcakes with asparagus & mash potatoes. Stripe bass Nice style with roasted potatoes & green beans & olives. Yummy! Casey completed the celebration with on the house keylime pie!. It was delicious!!! The service was tremendous and even the owner came by to greet us. Overall wonderful dining experience and will return soon to try the other selections of seafood. Thankyou. Paula & Jose'

Had another fabulous night at Message in a Bottle. It was wonderful from start to finish…the ambiance and decor were so tasteful and inviting, the waitstaff was lovely. They were welcoming, accommodating, fun and very pleasant. Most importantly , the food was superb!!!!! We had 5 of us… most had the black grouper, prepared a couple different ways, and not a crumb was left. The cocktails were unique , at least to us, and I can’t even describe how fantastic the desserts were, ESPECIALLY the bananas foster! I ate way too much and can’t wait to do it again !!

Based on the menu I expected more but fell short of expectations. The cocktail drinks were diluted and lacking balance. I liked the bonefish grill type option to have different platting and styles with the main fish but the frozen veggies and the overcooked fish was disappointing. This is a one-time try for me.

Great first experience and will definitely return! Our waitress, Kacy, and support staff were prompt and attentive. I enjoyed a bowl of Gumbo the Gulf shrimp special with the Saffron rice. The first plate was very spicy, so the manager promptly replaced it. My wife enjoyed the grouper sandwich and our daughter had the crab cakes and lobster bisque. The wine was excellent as welll as the Key Lime Pie. TTL $285 for three people.

Stephanie the general manager has created a gem in Sandy Springs that you need to come visit. It's like having dinner off the docks in Florida. The front manager Markus made us feel so welcome. Sarah, our waitress was so helpful, attentive and patient as we decided what to order. The oysters were incredibly fresh and tasty. The sea bass and salmon was moist and served in a Malibu" style that was delicate in it's flavor and colorful presented in the citrus ginger sauce. It's apparent that great care was taken in selecting their waitstaff who while quite busy, were always attentive. The premises were scruplously clean.

This new restaurant is a gem! The vibe was great and so was the food. Excellent and warm service too. It felt family owned- like everyone genuinely cared.

Cool little spot in Dunwoody. There are a couple little eateries around there to choose from. Chill atmosphere, with a little ocean vibe too it. We were passing through and had Easter brunch with friends. I had the brisket skillet which was really good. I recommend a English muffin side to get all the good yoke.
