My BFF never complains about anything but she was so DISAPPOINTED. She wanted to return the food and just leave. We were in NYC for just that evening together so I insisted that we stay and that I would pay. Boy, the food was so unseasoned and tasteless. The Injera had no flavor and the portions of veggies were so small, maybe a teaspoon full at most. The fish was just a little half of a tilapia and it was pan-fried. The waistress had the worst attitude ever and she acted as if she didn't understand what we were complaining about. Never again, will we go there. My friend was so upset that she wrote a note to the kitchen once we were leaving of course. Save your money and keep searching for a much better Ethiopian place to eat. The vibe wasn't great either, probably because the waiterss had Zero personality. She didn't even bother to find out why my friend was upset, she just gave us a crazy look. This is shocking especially in NYC. Oh, I almost forgot, she served us warm water with no ice and when I asked for ice, she gave me another weird look. Heck, it was hot in NYC that day, you would have thought she would have had that ice handy! :) Save your money, honey. Vegetarian options: No taste and only a teaspoon full. Not worth the money.

I hate to put this review but anybody looking for authentic Ethiopian food, I don’t recommend going to this place. Terrible food taste, very poor hospitality. After returning the whole food almost untouched, the hostess did not even asked what was wrong. We just paid and left.

The food is amazing here and the service is one of a kind. I highly recommend trying them out and with the family too.

Like someone else already said, the food lacked any authentic Ethiopian flavor or any flavor for that matter. Even the salt was lacking… The restaurant was empty so that should’ve been our first clue. prices were absolutely not worth the small portions too. Disappointing.

Food is delicious. But the atmosphere and service are somewhat lacking. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. Get the sampler plates (several options) to try a wide variety of dishes.
