Meshi Korean Street Food & Ricebowl

The food was incredible good, even more than I was expecting. The service was also really good too. The staff is very nice and friendly. The staff kindly explained the menu. The store was extremely clean. I would definitely visit here again! 친구가 블로그에서 맛집 찾아서 친구랑 같이 갔는데 생각 보다 더 맛있었어요. 사장님도 친절하게 메뉴 설명도 해주시고 서비스도 주셨어요. 매장도 정말 깨끗하고 깔끔했어요. 무조건 재방문 할것 같아요!

내돈내산! 지인 추천으로 알고 있었던 메시... 다운타운으로 옮기신 후 처음 가봤어요! 매장이 너무 깨끗하고 직원분도 친절하시고 정확한 시간에 음식을 받을 수 있었어요. 요리에 진심을 담지 않으면 나오지 않는 흔하지 않은 깊은 맛이 너무 좋았습니다. 그리고 콘도그... 너무 쫄깃하고 고소했고 기름 쩐내도 나지 않았어요 아무튼!! 계속 방문하고 싶은 가게 입니다.

Ordered through DoorDash today ordered the medium rice cakes for 25 dollars and this is what I got it was half the portion of what I got when I ordered a few months back or in store and it costs more and when I called today a girl specifically told me it came with seaweed rolls and gyoza but it came with an incredible small portion for 25 dollars and one piece of that. Huge waste of money if you guys are selling such small portions for that price at least let the consumer know because actually what is this. they also took 40 minutes to prepare this small order and got my one of my orders wrong I paid extra for a potato hotdog and got just the regular when I called back the guy not fluent in english couldn’t even understand me and just kept repeating that my order doesn’t come with all that when I already now know. Terrible service one gave me wrong info making me waste my money and the other one was just useless. You really have to try to make a food experience so terrible

Meshi's tteokbokki is hands down the best I've ever had – even better than what I enjoyed in Korea! If you're not accustomed to Korean spice, be cautious, but the beauty is you can adjust it to your liking. The addition of Chinese noodles elevates the overall flavor experience. While the price may initially raise an eyebrow, the portions are so generous; it easily feeds four people. In the end, it's not just a meal; it's a cost-effective feast! K-DOG was outstanding too! So I plan to visit frequently. And The staff is super friendly

This is the best food in Calgary. The inside is clean and the staff is very very friendly!!❤️ The food is delicious, so it's not a waste of money I think I will visit here often I want a lot of people to know this place.

This is a small place to have Japanese food and they recently offer some Korean street food. We were excited to try Korean street food and that is the main reason we visited. We ordered Korean rice corndogs, Tuckbokki (mild option), and Nagasaki Udon (spicy option). Udon was served on right time and it was so tasty! However, corndogs were not so great. I would not recommend adding more options (cheddar cheese and potato) because it was not worth it. They charged extra $1 for each option so if you add two options, you will pay + $2. They were crispy enough but a bit small size considering the price, they were a bit smelly and too oily. I felt not very fresh oil they used. Lastly, Tuckbokki was the worst. They served too late! Well, it was a great visual. However, it was too much overcooked, we told them about it, and they simply ignored. In addition, the source was taste nothing and too watery. I wish they were good taste as much as their visual. Before we ordered it, they explained that portion would be enough for 3 people but I think that’s a good size for 2 people only. You can easily buy frozen instant Tuckbokki from Korean store and they taste better than this (sorry but I am not lying). In summary, their location is not good for people who drive (you need to find the street parking and need to pay), it is a too small place and you may end up to wait in a line (we waited almost 30 min), service was too slow, inside temperature was too cold, and simply overpriced. I think they do a great job on social media marketing but please do not expect any real Korean street food from them. I hate to give them a bad review but I have to be honest. We have not tried any sushi, so please consider this review is based on their services, location, and Korean street food they have.

I really liked the food, we ordered chicken soup ,spicy chicken rice bowl and corn dog. This place is amazing

Very high prices but great menu options. It has changed since the location has moved. Not really a restaurant as before.
