Ate here because of a social media post. TakoyakI was good The chasu nagoya dry noodles were OK not amazing. A bunch of oil at the bottom of the bowl which grossed me out so i didnt finish my bowl. Not really worth the hype tbh
It’s my favorite spot for Ramen, food here tastes very fresh and popcorn chicken is really crunchy
The food was good however I felt really bad for our waitress who was serving every single table, while packing up to go orders. Every single table was full. I had to wait a long time to ask my waitress for my rice and check..., which I did not mind because I can see how overworked she was. This is not okay to do to your workers.
So delicious. Came on a Saturday night at 630pm and almost turned around when we saw the wait. About a dozen people ahead of us but we only waited 20 minutes. Service is fast. One spicy original mazesoba and one spicy deluxe. Will come back again.
Small place but test Big. Also I saw they have Vegan Menu too.
Nice and clean space. Incredible quick and friendly service with suggestions on what to order for this first timer. Great portion size, complimentary rice, and all around delicious meal. There was a line before it opened for dinner service! Vegetarian options: There is a vegan curry meal, many other dishes can sub in tofu to make vegetarian dishes I noticed. Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian options for meals and sides.
I've always wanted to eat here since I learned about it through social media a few months ago. Today, a couple of friends and I drove 40 miles from Long Beach to Arcadia through the rain to arrive at a restaurant that served food we were highly anticipating. It was sooooo worth the drive! We were kindly welcomed, the server was friendly, and the food was served fast. All three of us ordered the deluxe Deluxe Nagoya Mazesoba. It was amazingly delicious. The breaking of the egg as I then watch the yolk melt into the meat before I stir it was satisfying. The flavors were full and it all worked well together. We also ordered broth on the side which complimented the dish very well with sips between every few bites. The appetizers were also delicious. We had the cold tofu with sesame oil and bonito flakes and Takoyaki. Both prepared our stomachs for what was to come. My friends and I vouch for this place and know for sure that today will not be our last visit.
Lively and quite busy but luckily we were just popping in for a quick takeout order. Tried their original mazesoba and it was perfect! The noodles were thick and chewy, and the sauce and all the mix-ins (garlic, fish powder, chives, green onions, spicy minced pork, seaweed and a poached egg) were magical together. Quality wise, I felt like I was eating mazesoba back in Japan instead of slurping down those delicious noodles in the car, in the parking lot of a strip mall LOL
I can't speak on service or atmosphere because I had my food to-go but the food itself was so good. I ordered the original spicy and my food was ready about 10mins before I even arrived but the noodles were still chewy and the sauce was really flavorful. The ingredients were familiar but the flavor was something I haven't tasted before. I really enjoyed eating it.
