At the boston south station I ordered a vegetarian sandwich specifically and I was complaining that my order was late. The person at the counter intentionally gave me a bacon sandwich as that was only sandwich ready. I paid $10 and its gone into waste. I would request a refund. Also the sandwich was made so horribly. They just added anything in the sandwich and gave just to save time.
Slugs would serve food faster.
Service was fine and quick and they have lots of options. I went with a caprese sandwich which was likely the worst sandwich I’ve ever had especially for $10+
I get a sandwich here almost every time before I hop on the Amtrak. The food is great and it’s a lot of food for the price.
Right in south station! I had the blueberry muffin which was filling and really tasty and the peanut butter cookie was probably the best I’ve ever had…
Philly Sandwich was very good. If you get it, grab a fork; kind of messy. Wife's South Station club very good also
Misleading picture of breakfast bowl. That's the worst breakfast I've ever had. It was some how very watery at the bottom god knows how or from where. I payed for the steak option and got under seasoned ground beef that looked grey in color. I Though it would have scrambled eggs like in the picture here but NO I got boiled eggs. It said it would have grilled onions and peppers but they were absolutely not grilled. All of these ingredients tasted like they were thrown in the microwave…… Disappointing due to it being very watery on the bottom of the bowl which made the experience of eating this bad! The croissant was the only thing I actually enjoyed but I disliked that bowl so much I set it aside, and didn’t eat it. I get that it’s supposed to be like a healthy bowl but I don’t understand how it was so watery it’s like I had a bowl of scrambled soup…Next time, if I go, I will definitely not order that bowl again.
Fellow travellers, let it be known that the chana masala from here is the best vegan option at South Station.
