I've been here a few times and the food is amazing! I had the jerk chicken fried rice and the appetizer was pholourie, which is so good with the spicy mango sauce. Plus I had an amaretto sour to complete the meal.

Amazing food! Cool bartender. Not crowded & the owners are super friendly. Been gong here for years.

Vegetarian options: Put aside

Food was very tasty. My drink was good. I got the coconut margarita. I would definitely recommend trying this place at least once. It’s a Guyanese and Chinese food mix.

Love this place. First time eating at location. Love the owner vibe and family.

Horrible experience

EDIT/UPDATE: Melanie’s has sadly stopped selling their doubles. I don’t know why, this is a food tragedy, especially since it’s a been pregnancy craving of mine! Wishing I could leave SIX stars! DELICIOUS DELICIOUS DELICIOUS!!!! I know this will not make me a fan amongst our Brooklyn brothers and sisters, but this Melanies Doubles BEATS TRINCITI!!! They’re huge, tasty, and that mango chutney cannot be beat! I can’t remember the last time I had a lunch special under $10, but most of theirs are under 9 with a choice of soda or water! Please try: -Doubles -Fried Snapper with Rice and Dahl -Curry Chicken and Rice -Jerk Chicken and Fried Rice The staff is incredibly friendly, the beer is cold, and the spices are hot!
