Outstanding everything. After reading an article a few weeks ago about this new bakery in Front Royal, I knew I would have to check it out on my visit to town. I parked in the downtown and ventured over with my dog. My first observation of this beautiful pastry shop was the wrap-around porch with tables and chairs so Bonnie and I could both enjoy the morning. After hooking my pup up on the porch, I stepped inside to meet the incredible aromas you might expect in a top-notch cafe: butter, flour, coffee. The indoor decor was hip and warm, with no detail overlooked in creating a welcoming vibe. The staff greeted me warmly, patiently explained the gorgeous delicacies, and helped me choose ones that would best hold for my hike. They also offered up some pro recs for local exploration. I selected the Ham and Cheese Croissant and the Chocolate Cyclone Cookie, as Ryland explained they'd likely travel well. Despite my goal to get my treats to-go, I could not resist the urge to sample my selections with my coffee. In concert with my first impression of Melania's, the ham and havarti croissant was perfection, buttery and flakey, complete with just the right amount of mustard. I expect the cookie will equally exceed my expectations, but saving that! Melania's Gourmet: a gem in Front Royal!

Absolutely worth the stop if pad through. If I lived in town, I would be a regular. Beautiful and delicious sweets and very nice people!

Fantastic food - cookies, cakes, sandwiches. Freshly baked. Best coffee!! The owners are very friendly ,provide best customer service.

Ordered dairy-free cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday. They were super beautiful and delicious. Everyone was amazed that they were dairy-free. Can’t wait to visit again!

Stopby to check it out and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is so cute, and coconut cream pie was outstanding. Paired with a great cup of coffee, this place was spot on with everything!

What a gem. This is now my destination of choice when I'm feeling a little splurge-y for something delicious. Tried the tiramisu and maple ginger spice cheesecake. Both were not too sweet, just perfect. And their interior decor! So gorgeous. Just wish they were open more days! :)
