I went to Melange today (3/16) and while I have no complaint about the food or coffee, I do have a complaint about the young boy barista working there. Multiple times, while I waited on my coffee, he stopped what he was doing and literally made out with his nearby girlfriend who was about to leave. It was gross and highly unprofessional.
This is the best place to get a crepe. I had the strawberry Nutella crepe, and it was delicious.
A middling experience. The price is quite high for the level of quality they provide. The service is good, not outstanding. The food is fine, not outstanding. The coffee was decent but overpriced. The crepes are a bit too thin (it could be their personal preference) but it means that they can’t leave the ingredients to melt or heat up inside the crepe too long or it’ll burn. This results in uneven cooking (some parts cold, other parts piping hot). The ingredients for the savory crepes definitely required more cooking. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll be back. There are better spots in Houston for folks who love crepes.
Stopped by around mid morning on a week day and had a wonderful experience. Got a savory samosa and a Vietnamese coffee. The crepe was cooked just like how I like them and the filling was delicious too! Staff was super friendly and prompt. The atmosphere was chill vibes. Super nice spot!
Decided to give this place a try on a whim while I was nearby, and I’m so glad that I did! My partner got a Samosa crepe and a Nutella, banana, strawberry crepe while I got a Jian Bing and a Strawberry and cookie butter crepe. They were all delicious and were probably some of the best crepes I’ve ever had! The staff were amazing and very friendly, and suggested the espresso lemonade, which is also 10/10. All in all, I can’t wait to come back and try even more flavors! Parking: Parking is connected to a different group of stores next door, but it was easy for us to find parking in the afternoon
Delicious! Great options-sweet or savory. We got the samosa crepe and Nutella & strawberry crepe
