I went for my birthday and basically these people scammed the hell out of us. double charged us on almost every item. waitress gave herself a decent tip and apparently that’s included within the tab. never had that happen before… then they ask for an extra tip? lol usually places give complimentary desserts or something for a bday.. SOMETHING especially after being overcharged but hey i won’t be back lol i’ll leave it to the tiktokers influencing them to raise their prices.

so much fun, great food, music, and amazing service. GUYS... THE EVENT COORDINATOR, Cal, needs a RAISEEE! I hope management sees this- he made our experience top tier, had excellent customer service, and we will be back! Thank you Mei Mei and a special thank you to Cal! Vegetarian options: they had a section of the menu for vegetarians! Parking: definitely uber or pay a parking lot

Went to mei mei yesterday with my boyfriend. I’ve been wanting to come here since it opened and was expecting a great experience overall but I wasn’t blow away at all . We scheduled a reservation for 815 and arrived 20 mins early . The woman said give her 15 mins to clear a table off and we didn’t get us seated until 840 .she took us from the front host stand down to the basement bar area to wait for our table which was very unwelcoming to be honest . The DJ was good but the music was way too loud . Our server actually introduced himself and made it a point to say give me a sec while I ask the dj to turn the music down because he couldn’t hear us and we couldn’t hear him . It also cause my boyfriend a migraine . It was giving club restaurant instead of a nice dining experience . Overall the food was okay , I think it wasn’t worth the prices they were a bit too high in my opinion. We got the short rib lomein and there was barley any short rib in the Lo mein and the drinks were good but also high . I had my experience and won’t return but our server Carlos was a pleasure and made our experience more pleasurable than we were initially having .

We stopped in after having brunch at a nearby restaurant, just trying to keep the good times rolling. We ordered a few appetizers and drinks, the food was subpar, no complaints about the drinks as I didn’t order any and can’t recall any mention of bad drinks from my party. When the bill came it was overly expensive for what we had. Upon examination I noticed that the appetizers were triple the advertised price. When I questioned the server, I was told that you have to select the dinner menu option which is noticeable. I questioned why would the cheaper menu populate when scanned. The server went back and forth trying to reason. The manager was noticed the and approached giving the same “you have to choose the dinner menu” speech as if it’s a rehearsed excuse they’re use to giving. I pulled my phone out asking the manager to see it from the customers prospective. I scanned the QR code and began walking him through what the guests see when they order. I explained that if the dinner menu button isn’t noticeable they have 3 options, 1 make it larger, 2 have the dinner “higher priced” menu as the main menu, or 3 give guests the courtesy of telling them where to find the proper menu. He agreed then asked what I ordered, he returned with a new bill honoring the lower price on my item, not the others. I didn’t want to make a deal out of it as I noticed my party had become uncomfortable so we paid a $300 bill for corner Chinese store items. What tastes okay for $7, tastes like crap for $28. The bait and switch 52 fake out is horrible business practice. Please get rid of peddlers “photographers” They’re bothersome and make guests uncomfortable, they either lack self awareness or they just don’t care. Seemed like they were being trafficked and had to make quota.

The cheesesteak egg roll & Taiwanese wings were good. The lo mein was not the best - there was something off about it. Cons: They need to do better with the seating expectations. It seems like most parties were not satisfied by their experience. I probably won’t come back due to the lack of transparency when it comes to the seating. I made a reservation for the main dinning area and was seated in the basement ( down stairs area) that was not ready when we got down there.

It was my first time here with a friend for Brunch . The food was delicious. There was a photograph there to take pictures and you got to take them home with you. There was also a live DJ, who was also very good. I had the Crispy Shrimp & Grits. My friend had the Short Rib Quesadilla. The music was a bit too loud especially for brunch. Overall I had a great time and highly recommend! Will be back for dinner!
